"Here's a little hidden fact about this Piaggio P-166 Portofino Pig which is located at the National Museum here in Port Moresby. The plane was actually bought by the National Museum & Art Gallery in 1984 for a planned Aviation Museum. The plans didn't quite work out and believe it or not, it sat at Jacksons Airport for some time until it moved to the Museum then located at Gordons which was then closed in 2014. About a decade ago it was transported to the current location at Waigani. It's a fascinating piece of history just like the plane itself and there are so many facts about it which we will share in due course. But if you want to have a look at this interesting plane, it's located at the National Museum in Waigani."
