It has been so long since we last heard of the amazing sounds of the Buka Bamboos. Slapping the Bamboos with thongs, they make an unique sound.

Hailing from the Autonomous Region of Bougainville in Papua New Guinea, their distinctive sound is created using traditional bamboo instruments. The name obviously eminating from the Buka Island, one of the main islands in the Bougainville region.
