Netball Papua New Guinea under the leadership of Ulato Avei have embarked on an ambitious recruitment drive with all coaching, management and supporting roles vacant.

With a focus on the senior team and the under 21, Netball PNG are looking for qualified and experienced candidates for the roles of Coach, Team Manager, Team Doctors, Strength and Conditioning coaches and physiotherapists.

Three national selectors are also been sought to undertake selection roles for the senior and junior teams.

The recruitment drive seems like a major overhaul to the organisation and rightly so.

The performance of the country’s senior team, the Pepes, has been a real disappointment and perhaps much of that has been attributed to the lack of funding for the administration to provide the necessary training programs at the elite level.

Netballers supporters are also calling for the senior coach to be from overseas so that a new perspective can injected to rejuvenate the poorly performing Pepes.

If you or anyone you know is interested in the positions available, please read the notice below.
