2020 would be a year we would rather forget. But slowly we’re all starting to accept it as part of our daily lives and it won’t be long before we all start moving about and going on with what we need to do to survive in this often unpredictable planet. That said, it’s very important that we adhere to social distancing rules and stay home if we feel unwell particularly if we become aware of those COVID symptoms. But if you ever do go out to enjoy a drink or to dine, Harbourside West is gradually turning out again to be “the place to be”.
Our latest “spin” around the waterfront precinct resulted in the following pics and we’re sure you will find them enticing.
The former Naked Fish restaurant area remains closed and we understand it is currently being done up by a new owner. Although still midway through maintenance, a peek inside looks like it’s something to be excited about.
On the exterior, the area is spacious. Modern seats and tables with floors comprising of both tiles, wood and synthetic grass – quite a contrast from its previous look.
A few flat screen television sets scattered around the area providing patrons an opportunity not to miss all the sports action.
And complying with the “new norm” regulations, hand sanitizers are also strategically placed at key locations around the area.
It’s not all for the adults though. A play area is also set up in close vicinity of the dining area allowing kids to have a whole lot of fun and of course create less disturbance to the adults whilst still keeping a close watch on them.
