Since the surge of COVID in the city began, many businesses have cut down on working hours or to a more extreme extent sent workers home to work from home. Port Moresby’s central business district has been very quiet this week with the usually busy morning turning quiet. With the city going into “Nationwide Isolation” starting next Monday, there is no doubt that Port Moresby’s usually busy CBD will turn into a “ghost town”.
