The Papua New Guinea Tourism Promotion Authority did an exceptional job in its support of Papua New Guinea’s hosting of the Miss Pacific Islands Pageant.
Social media came abuzz as the beautiful Pacific Queens entered the shores of our country bringing even more color to an already colorful nation.
NBC’s live social media coverage of the final night of judging brought in a whole lot more people to witness the event and at one stage, there was a minimum of approximately 9,000 social media users glued to NBC’s live stream watching every second of the proceedings. Despite the final hiccup with the live stream, the coverage was positive and it can only get better.
The exposure the country received was indeed positive and no doubt the Papua New Guinea Tourism Promotion Authority will be looking investing more on online media to promote the beauty of Papua New Guinea.
On that same note, we’re pleased to announce that the PNG Tourism Promotion Authority has once again agreed to sponsor Skerah for another year. This is the 5th consecutive year the Authority has supported Skerah and we’re pleased to continue our association and more importantly help them promote our beautiful nation.
In the meantime, here’s more colour to the glittering event on Saturday night. Well done to the organizers and all sponsors in hosting what has been a very well organized and successful event. Congratulations also extends to each of the participants in the Miss Pacific Islands quest and a special one to Miss Samoa on being crowned Miss Pacific Islands 2020.
