Bank South Pacific (BSP) has come on board with K20, 000, at Gold level sponsor for the E-Commerce SME Summit on the 25th April.
The event will coincide with the 2nd APEC Business Advisory Council (ABAC) Meeting in Port Moresby, from the 24th to 27th April.
At a presentation today, BSP’s Manager – SME, Dennis Konu said, “BSP sees this as an important event for Small to Medium Entrepreneurs (SME), especially for our SME customers.”
“We recognise the importance of SMEs in the country and how they contribute to the economy, and supporting this summit will further develop the SME in E-Commerce. BSP is a leader in providing e-Business solutions such as EFTPoS, Secure On-line Banking, Mobile Banking, Mobile Payments, Internet Payment Gateway and Bill Pay to small business in PNG. We are keen to contribute and look at ways to improve our service offering. “
Executive Director for the PNG Business Council and Lead Staffer, ABAC PNG, Douveri Henao thanked the Bank for the financial support in providing financial service to the SME sector.
Mr Henao added, “ABAC PNG recognises the important role that BSP plays in providing, E-Commerce solutions to its SME customers and we are pleased to have them on board as Gold Sponsors for this event.”
He further thanked BSP’s Board Chairman, Sir Kostas Constantinou, OBE and management for the support toward the preparation of ABAC PNG.
The event will host 20 member country representatives with ABAC China Ms. Dianne Wang as the host and facilitator of the meeting. Ms Wang will be accompanied by 7 renowned speakers from the banking, internet, logistics and market development space.
It is expected that over 700 SME will be attending the event.
