The number of Kit Homes in the market has grown and there are some fabulous designs. Kit Homes make it easier for you particularly construction wise as most of the framing are done in the factory using a framing machine. There are two issues we have come across from some clients. Firstly, the price is quite exorbitant and secondly there’s little room for modification.
At HomeInspire, we’re here to inspire you by providing you some designs which you can modify to your liking. In doing so, you have control over the design and can reduce costs by removing unnecessary features. Likewise, you can add more features where necessary.
So here’s how it works:
If you like a design we publish here on HomeInspire, you can purchase the architect designed Conceptual Drawings which includes floor plans and the lot. Furthermore, we license you and provide you the CAD (Computer Aided Design) file which is necessary for modifying (if any) and submitting it to a steel framing manufacturer for review, quoting and constructing the framings.
It is important that you consult an architect and if necessary a structural engineer to help you in the modifications and generally your project to advise you specifically on your circumstances. Essentially, the Conceptual Drawings and files are to inspire and help you with getting your dream home underway.
