The Papua New Guinea Electoral Commission has recently introduced and launched the PNG Voter Roll Look Up App. The App is aimed at assisting voters check their name on the roll in a more convenient way.
In previous years, the process had all been done manually but the current App is a more technologically advanced way of checking whether a voter is on the roll or not.
The App as we’ve found is limited to Android devices and is available on Google Play. We have not been able to find the same App in the App Store for Apple devices.
There is no sign up required and the process is quite simple.
The main feature of the App is unsurprisingly the search facility. The following information are required for a more effective search:
First Name
Last Name
Gender
Region
Province
District
LLG
Ward Name
The downside to the App is that there are no other features should one be unsuccessful in locating his or her name. You will have to contact the Electoral Commission directly.
