  • Position: Technical Manager / Superintendent

The Technical Manager will be responsible in ensuring safe, efficient and economical technical performance of all vessels in compliance with all Class, Flag and International statutory and other mandatory local requirements in PNG operations.

The incumbent will supervise daily operational activities of all vessels. And lead / guides and monitor workshop teams to support the vessels.

This is a hand on position. And the incumbent have report to the management on daily base.

To be considered for this position the candidate must possess of following qualifications: 

  • Class 1 Marine Engineer in merchant Navy
  • Previous experience as Technical Manager or Superintendent
  • Knowledge in ISM, ISPS, Flag state and Classification procedures and regulations
  • People management skills, preferably gained from working in a multicultural environment
  • Experience in intermediate and special dry dockings, ship repairs ect.
  • Good knowledge on MAN, MAK / Caterpillar Engines
  • Good knowledge in ship systems, electronically system and hydraulics
  • Experience with ship cranes
  • Ability to travel within in short notice as required
