The Papua New Guinea Electoral Commission has recently introduced and launched the PNG Voter Roll Look Up App. The App is aimed at assisting voters check their name on the roll in a more convenient way. In previous years, the process had all been done manually but the current App is a more technologically advanced way of checking whether a voter is on the roll or not. One of Papua New Guinea’s finest rugby league players, Philip Dou Boge, passed away on Tuesday 21 June 2022. Boge was 55. Renown for his ferocious cover defence and stylish attacking play, the athletically built Boge passed away at home in his beloved Hanuabada Village after battling a short illness. His playing style was well known throughout the rugby league mad nation. Despite his rather small frame, Boge often had a no fear attitude taking attackers “head-on” punishing anything coming towards him. Singapore also doesn’t require pre-departure testing for passengers transiting through Singapore onto flights to other international destinations.  However, should your final destination require a pre-departure test, evidence of this will need to be shown at check-in. From 1am tomorrow, Thursday 28th April, COVID19 tests on arrival in Port Moresby is no longer required for passengers arriving from Australia. However, tests for passengers arriving from Singapore, Philippines and China (incl Hong Kong) is still required but the testing fee has been reduced to K150 per passenger.
