POLICE CLEARANCE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM LAUNCHED

The RPNG Police Constabulary, in collaboration with the Department of ICT and the Department of Finance, have officially launched the Police Clearance Management System (PCMS) today. This system now introduces a seamless digitalized process for our people to apply and pay online, and receive a digital police clearance certificate, while also utilizing QR code technology for electronic verification, and biometric data collection.

The PCMS is the first citizen faced service launched through the G2C eGovernment Portal initiative. Next month we are launching 8 more services as well as a digital wallet app to enable our people to securely store their personal certificates electronically.

These initiatives align with the Digital Transformation Policy 2020, Digital Government Act 2022, and the Medium-Term Development Plan IV 2023 – 2027, emphasizing the government’s commitment to enhancing online accessibility and simplifying services for the public.
