PNG Barramundis Looking to bounce back against Hong Kong

  • The Papua New Guinea cricket team are back in action this afternoon, as they take on Hong Kong in Dubai in the first of two matches in the last round of the World Cricket League Championship.

The Barramundis lie second on the ladder, two points behind the Netherlands who are playing Namibia.

One win will be enough for the Dutch to take the title, and with it a place alongside Australia and the other test playing nations in the new World One Day League, but if they fail, then the door could open for PNG.

First though, Game Development Manager, Gayan Loku says the squad will have to put a big defeat to Hong Kong in the four day Intercontinental Cup clash behind them.
