Several weeks ago, we attended the craft market at the Moresby Arts Theatre at Waigani and we came across a guy making pottery. We were impressed by his skill and thought we'd take some photos of him in action.
In traditional times, Papua New Guineans (women in particular) made pots with their hands.
As you will see in the photos below, there's still a lot of skill required especially designing and making the fine 'engravings' (not sure the exact term) on the pots. Have a look at them and tell us what you think by emailing us in admin@skerah.com.
