At Skerah.com we cover events and entertainment. But we see entertainment broadly and not simply shows, festivals, dances, music and so forth. Photos of our surroundings can also be entertaining if put in a more meaningful way.

Driving & Sailing across Granville Residence

One of the most popular landmarks you will see in Port Moresby is the Fairfax Harbour. It's an unique landmark both physically and historically. Captain John Moresby first sighted Port Moresby in 1873 and named the harbour Fairfax Harbour in honour of his father Admiral Sir Fairfax Moresby.

Touaguba Hill is an imposing site to see when one enters Fairfax Harbour and one of the buildings you will notice is a creamy white building that stands out from the other buildings around it.

Granville Residence is located at Airvos Ave. which is the main street on Touaguba Hill. We were amazed by this building and thought we'd take a drive up Touaguba Hill and see what the building was like close-up and what the Fairfax Harbour looked like from Airvos Ave.

The photos you will see in our Flickr account gives you a close-up look at the Graville Residence and also what it looks like from Chalmers Crescent which is located on the other end of the CBD. You can see the photos by clicking here

With all the development going on, you can be rest assured that there will be more buildings like the Granville Residence built around the harbour area.
