Port Moresby, June 5th, 2017 | The Port Moresby Nature Park together with other corporate organisations successfully hosted World Environment Day Expo on Saturday 3rd June, 2017.
With the theme “Connecting People to Nature”, the event promoted conservation messages, the Go Green message to Rethink, Reuse and Recycle and creating awareness about how to care for the environment.
The annual expo is part of Port Moresby Nature Park’s on-going activities that brings together different organisation with an aim to educate and promote awareness about PNG’s vast flora and fauna.
BSP has been a proud supporter of this annual event since 2013. The World Environment day celebrations at the Port Moresby Nature Park, is one of the Bank’s annual event on its Go Green calendar, apart from observing the Earth Hour, Earth Day and the Clean up the World Campaign. The next event on the calendar is the Annual Go Green School Clean-up day which will be executed in October.
BSP Brand Ambassador, Ryan Pini MBE was at the event and expressed how delighted he was to be there to meet and greet those who participated and observed the Day. He also made time to take pictures and sign merchandise for the many fans.
