PORT MORESBY (2 November 2016) Today Kia Motors Corporation (Kia Motors afterwards), FIFA Partner, officially handed over 60 vehicles to support the transportation of the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup Papua New Guinea 2016.

Kia Vehicles, including Sorento, Optima and Sportage models will support the transportation of LOC and FIFA officials and delegates from all over the world.

As the ‘Official Automotive Partner’, the world-class vehicles will be used from now through to the completion of the games on 3 December.


Shane Boyce, General Manager of the Kia Motors Papua New Guinea distributor formally presented FIFA Vice President, David Chung the Kia vehicle fleet at Sir John Guise Stadium in Port Moresby.

“We are delighted with the opportunity to support FIFA and the Local Organizing Committee (LOC afterwards) in the successful operation of this important and prestigious event”. “We are proud to make our vehicles available to assist FIFA and the LOC with the logistics of people and materials movement during this event”. Mr. Boyce said.
