The original Stop N Shop at Waigani Central has been refreshed, with a redesigned store layout, new air conditioning, an improved product range, expanded fresh produce section and the friendly customer service and competitive prices customers usually expect from Stop N Shop.
After fire closed new Stop N Shop at Waigani Central during the Pacific Games on July 13, CPL has worked diligently to re-open the original Stop N Shop Supermarket on the corner at Waigani Central, in order to minimise disruption to its nearby customers. The original Stop N Shop has been a familiar resource in the Waigani area for almost three decades.
“We welcome our valued customers to the reopening of the original Stop N Shop Central Waigani,” said Ravi Singh, CEO of CPL Group. “Our entire team is thrilled to show the refreshed store to our customers, and to guide them through many improvements, like the larger fresh fruits and vegetables section, where they will also find the low prices they’ve come to expect.”
“Service to longtime customers and the welfare of our staff have been the drivers behind the investment that’s why we reopen this original store,” he said. “With this, we reaffirm that going forward, life will always be stronger than any adversity. We are more determined than ever to serve our customers,” said Singh, adding that the company is also focused on rebuilding the newer Stop N Shop at Waigani Central.
In addition to upgrades to the registers, floors, aisles and air conditioning, the new-look store has a range of features such as a Nursing Station and specialised Baby section in the City Pharmacy area, an expanded City Digital offering, a convenient BonCafe area and a Real Rewards Plus corner to cater to its members. A bigger Kaibar area, with more tables and chairs, has also been set-up for the enjoyment of families shopping together.
The reopening of the original Stop N Shop store has been keenly awaited by Stop N Shop staffs at Waigani Central, who have been eager to resume service and offer their customers the opportunity to enjoy shopping in their store again.
“The immediate refurbishment of the original Stop N Shop Waigani is another example of CPL Group’s unfailing commitment to both our people and our continuing service to our customers,” Singh said. “Customer service is high priority in our stores, and we all strive together to ensure our customers are happy,” he added.
