Papua New Guinea Barramundis have won their second one day international on home soil.

PNG won the toss and elected to bat first.  Kenya got a good start removing dangerous opening batsman Lega Siaka without a score.  Siaka’s opening partner Vani Vagi Morea on the other hand continued his good form knocking up Papua New Guinea’s first ever one day century an unbeaten 102.

Vagi was assisted by Sese Bau (66) also scoring his first one day international half century.

PNG set a target of 249 on a good batting track.

Kenya in reply fell short of 9 runs.  Papua New Guinea bowling spearhead Norman Vanua took 3 wickets while medium pacer John Reva snatched 4 wickets in the crucial stages of the match.

Papua New Guinea won by 21 runs.
