Port Moresby, 5th December, 2017 |Bank South Pacific (BSP) brought smiles to the sick and their caregivers at the Gerehu Hospital when they visited them on Saturday 2nd December, 2017.
The team presented special packs which included T-Shirts, caps, towels, thongs, stress balls together with toiletries and hand sanitisers to share the Christmas joy and cheer with the patients.
The hospital visits are part of the bank’s corporate social responsibility and are usually the icing on the cake, topping off a year of much worthy sponsorship, donations and activities the bank undertakes throughout the year.
The Bank’s Human Resource General Manager Hari Rabura thanked the Gerehu Hospital Management for allowing the bank to share the Christmas Joy with the sick.
“We get to share the Christmas spirit of love, joy, and peace and put a smile on those who don’t get the opportunity to spend this Christmas with their families,” said Ms Rabura who also participated in the event.
BSP staff who volunteered to participate in the activity said the experience was “very fulfilling”. Selected BSP teams will also conduct such visits to the hospitals in other parts of the country
